Count Down Begins!!

9 weeks!!!!!!!!

I have officially started the count down till Baby Smith is born. And yes I am referring to him as Baby Smith because we keep changing his name and going back and forth, so his official name will be announced on his birthday! I can't believe how much this little guy moves and how hard his little feet and legs can kick me! He rolls all around and I can feel where he is in my tummy its so much fun, especially for Blaine. Sleeping has become a chore. Between my legs falling asleep, being fat - its much harder to roll around and get comfortable as a fatty, and going to the bathroom about eight times a night I am pretty tired around 3 in the afternoon. But I just cannot wait to meet my little guy! What kind of personality is he going to have? Who will he look like? What is it going to be like to be a MOM!! its kind of a big deal. I have a doctor's appointment this week and an ultrasound! I cant wait I love seeing him its so much fun.

Today 3 of my nieces came over to play, Gilberto's 2 children came over and then their cousin joined in on the fun. So I had two 7 year olds, two 5 year olds, and two 3 year olds. Oh and did I mention that 3 of the children do not speak fluent English. It was a lot of FUN to have everyone over. But it made me so tired and it was hard to keep up with everyone, I blamed it on the pregnancy and then it hit me, Blaine and I want a big family so someday I could be pregnant and have 6 children of my own!! Ahh.. made me rethink the size of the family that I want but then I thought my kids will be a little bit more spread out than these guys are so I should be ok right?... And we did have lots of fun!! I had just better prepare myself for all the work that comes with it. Talk about toys all over the house and dishes piling up. But hey I won't go from no children to 6 they will come one at a time I think I can handle that.

Potty Training

Dang it! It didn't happen over night. Well I must be more patience and more persistent. The battle of wills has begun and I WILL WIN! If only he weren't so cute then it would be easier to be mad at him and lock him in his kennel all day.

What a Mover

So yesterday this little guy moved all day long! - I am not even exaggerating. I don't think he slept once all day. It was fun to be able to feel him, it made me think about what kind of personality he is going to have. I think he is going to be a lot like his Dad! It was nice that he moved, kicked, rolled, and had the hiccups all day because Blaine got to feel and see him move. Usually when Blaine tries to feel him lately he quits moving, its like he knows Daddy is there and that he had better stop kicking Mommy. But last night he was doing back flips or something.. and Blaine got to feel and see him move. It was so exciting, and it makes both of us so excited to meet him!! :)

We got another ultrasound last week and I was really surprised by how big you could tell he had gotten. He was in a frank breech position so the the poor little guy is folded right in half, his little feet were right by his head! I am starting to get a little concerned about the fact that he is going to triple in weight before he is born, he is either just not going to fit or I am going to be the size of a boat! In the ultrasound we could see a little bit more detail and I can already tell he is going to be the cutest. But what is funny is a day or two after the ultrasound we were at Blaine's parents house and saw a picture of Blaine as a baby and I kid you not, he looks just like the ultrasound picture we got. I thought I was going crazy so I asked Blaine and he thought so too! The baby looks like Blaine!! :) which makes me very happy because Blaine was basically the most adorable baby there ever was!! I would post pictures from the latest ultrasound but my scanner is being extremely difficult! Oh well i try again next time!

Officially a Blogger

Ok I have never done this before and I already know I am not going to do a very good job at keeping this up to date but I will do my best.

I am not going to try to go back and fill in details with what has been going on because it would basically take forever and a day!!

I am going to start with NOW. haha

Well the latest thing to happen to us is our new addition! Bruno, our new puppy! He is a Yorkie and I am basically in love. Blaine is jealous that he loves me most but oh well Blaine already had a dog Max (our German Shepard) who loves him most so I claim Bruno.

I am now in my THIRD and FINAL trimester! I am so excited. I can't wait to meet this little guy who spends his day kicking me and making me uncomfortable. I have now gotten to the point where tying my shoes is the biggest chore of the day. And sitting for long periods of time is totally out! He apparently cannot stand it when I sit still.
